Clarification Regarding Research Grants

There have been a number of questions concerning the inclusion of travel funds as part of research grants. As a point of clarification, faculty may request funds for travel to conduct research. The request for such funding is under ” D.” on the Research Grant form and has been supported for a number of years. Funds to travel to conferences to present a paper, poster, etc., even from the research supported in these grants, are now handled by the deans of the six colleges with faculty.
