On May 24, 2004 the Towson University Procurement Department awarded a next day/desktop delivery contract for HP toner cartridges. The contract will run for a period of twelve months beginning July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005. Your normal ordering process will not be affected, you can still order using your procurement card. Just call Rusty Balazs (410-360-4900) at AJ?s for all your toner needs.
The contract includes Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) cartridges as well as reliable compatible and remanufactured cartridges at significant savings. The contract was based on a review of procurement card transactions. Our goal was to include the cartridges the campus uses most. If you don?t see the cartridge you need listed, AJ?s has agreed to provide it to you at 7% over wholesale cost.
Although the average savings for an OEM cartridge on contract is significant (16%), all campus users are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the tremendous savings (51%) that the compatible and remanufactured cartridges offer. Compatible and remanufactured cartridges are reliable and come with a guarantee that they will meet or exceed the performance characteristics of the OEM product.
Remember!! Remanufactured toner cartridges are reliable and protect natural resources by diverting used products from the waste stream and returning them to productive use.
