The African Diaspora Club presents the first “African Week” at Towson University starting Monday, Nov. 14th and ending Nov. 19th.
African Week schedule:
Monday, Nov. 14th – Thursday, Nov. 17th
A video on the continent of Africa will be playing each day during this week in the University Union, Second Floor Lobby. We will also be selling T-shirts for the African Explosion (Nov. 19th). The T-shirts cost $15 each, funds collected will be use to further expand the club’s activities here on campus.
We encourage all African students to wear their traditional attires to mark this week.
Saturday, Nov. 19th:
THE AFRICAN EXPLOSION!
A unique evening of African Poetry, dances, fashion, cuisine, and music.
Location: University Union, Chesapeake Rooms
Time: Doors open 6:00 p.m. and close 7:30 p.m.
Price: FREE!!
