“When I Was Puerto Rican” by Esmeralda Santiago chosen as 2006 Book of the Year

Towson University Campus Life and Department of English are pleased to announce the selection of “When I Was Puerto Rican” written by Esmeralda Santiago as the book featured in the 8th Annual Book of the Year Celebration.

Ms. Santiago will present two lectures: one at 3:30pm in Potomac Lounge, which is a Q & A session about the “writer’s art,” and a formal book reading at 7:00 p.m. in Stephens Auditorium both on October 4, 2006.
