Please join the Towson University College of Health Professions, Center for Adults with Autism, the Department of Disability Services, the Office of Diversity, and the College of Fine Arts and Communication?s Department of Electronic Media & Film for refreshments and free showing of the outstanding documentary film Wretches & Jabberers.

?In Wretches & Jabberers, two men with autism embark on a global quest to change attitudes about disability and intelligence. Determined to put a new face on autism, Tracy Thresher, 42, and Larry Bissonnette, 52, travel to Sri Lanka, Japan and Finland. At each stop, they dissect public attitudes about autism and issue a hopeful challenge to reconsider competency and the future.?

John Hussman, PhD, executive producer of the film, will introduce the documentary with a discussion about ways that perceptions can influence attitudes towards diverse students. A teach-in and campus conversation will follow the film.
