Towson University will participate in the Colonial Academic Alliance (CAA) Undergraduate Research Conference, on February 27 & 28 at the University of Delaware. This conference is the perfect opportunity for your students to gain experience presenting their work to a larger audience. The conference is open to students from any discipline in the
University who have completed original works in their field. TU will provide transportation, food and lodging for ten undergraduates (8 posters, 2 oral presentations). Although the deadline for submitting abstracts is January 15, 2004, it is recommended that abstracts be submitted by early December. CAA plans to put up a Web page soon.
On April 22, 2004, Towson University will again sponsor its annual Student Research Expo, in which Undergraduate and Graduate students present posters, talks, performances, and showings of their original scholarly work.

Both of these conferences are especially well suited for students currently signed up for independent study credits, research assistants, or who are working on an honors thesis. Any work that has been completed in the past year is eligible for entry.
