SOFTWARE TIP OF THE WEEK

Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2003: Cut/Copy and Paste Multiple Times
Did you know you can store more than one cut or copied text block (or object) at a time? That?s right! You can cut and copy multiple times and then pick any one of those items to paste back into a document.
When you cut or copy an item, it?s stored in the Office Clipboard. The Office Clipboard can hold up to 24 items ? with the newest entry at the top of the list. If you copy more than 24 items, the first item on the Office Clipboard is deleted from the Clipboard.
For 2003 users:
1. Select the Edit > Office Clipboard? from the menu bar. The Clipboard Task Pane displays. In this Task Pane you’ll see a list of all the things you’ve recently cut or copied.
2. To paste items from the Clipboard, ensure you place your cursor in the location of the document where you want to paste.
3. Click the desired item in the Clipboard Task Pane. The item pastes into the document.
For 2007 users:
1. Select the Home tab.
2. Click the More button in the lower right corner of the Clipboard group (It appears below the Format Painter icon next to the Clipboard header name,). Follow steps 2 and 3 above.
