TU-Tube? Capture Instruction and View it Online with the Digital Media Classroom

With Towson’s new Digital Media Classroom (DMC), students can view their instruction anytime, anyplace and at their own pace! It?s like a YouTube experience ? for your class only!

In the DMC an instructional unit is monitored, video recorded, archived and simultaneously delivered online through the oversight of a technician at the back of the room. With little advanced preparation by the instructor, we can create an atmosphere much like a traditional classroom where all the presenter needs to worry about is teaching!

We are now accepting applications to record sessions in the DMC during the upcoming minimester and spring 2008 semester.
** First priority will go to faculty teaching one course with both an online and face-to-face section.

For more information and applications, go to {http://www.towson.edu/dmc} or contact Audrey Cutler at {acutler@towson.edu} and x4-5082.

Demonstrations of the DMC are scheduled for the following dates in room 404B of Cook Library (or as requested):
* Monday, November 26, 2007 from 5 ? 6 p.m.
* Friday, November 30, 2007 from noon ? 1 p.m.

Please register for these demonstrations on the OTS Training registration page: {http://fusion.towson.edu/www/ciat/workshops/}.
