In an effort to offer additional value-added benefits to employees, the Office of Human Resources (OHR) is pleased to announce that all faculty and staff will now be eligible to enroll in a variety of supplemental insurance options offered by Aflac.
Aflac pays all benefits to you and can be used to reduce or eliminate the financial impact of deductibles, co-pays, out of network charges and loss of income while recuperating from an accident or illness regardless of any traditional medical insurance coverage. The options will be available on a direct-pay basis from Aflac.
Representatives from Aflac will be presenting the details of these plans at four separate presentations scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Monday, June 21 and 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Thursday, June 24. All sessions will be held in the University Union Chesapeake Room III and will last approximately one hour. While pre-registration is not required, anyone planning to attend any of the sessions should email their intention to {dcurtis@towson.edu} in order to assure adequate seating.
Additional materials will be available at the sessions or upon request from OHR beginning the week of June 21.
