All employees are encouraged to wear their TU attire to the 2009 Faculty/Staff Picnic, which is being held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 29 in Paws Lounge and the surrounding patio area.
This year?s event will be a throwback to old-fashioned picnics with water balloons, a three-legged race, sack race, hula hoop competition and egg race. There will be moon bounces generously provided by Pepsi and TU Athletics, as well as great door prizes which will be announced every half hour from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
The picnic is a great opportunity to enjoy the simple pleasure of gathering with colleagues and friends to celebrate Towson University?s successes in the past year. Camaraderie among colleagues is important in these tough economic times, and everyone is encouraged to attend.
If you plan to attend the picnic, please RSVP to {picnic@towson.edu} by 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 26. Note that the picnic will be held rain or shine, with festivities moving to the bottom floor of the Union garage if there is inclement weather.
