Sixteen Towson University departments participated in the Black and Gold Office Decorating Contest last Friday. The judges were impressed with the amount of effort and enthusiasm departments exhibited in showing Tiger spirit. Special thanks to judges Deb Moriarty, V.P. Student Affairs, Pat Skerry, Men?s Basketball coach, Bruce Atkinson, Women?s Volleyball coach, Greg Paynter, Women?s Soccer coach and, last but not least, ?Doc? the Tiger.
The following departments participated and are congratulated for all of their efforts: Athletics, DECO, Copies Plus, Reference and Circulation, CIAT, Campus Recreation, University Book Store, Parking and Transportation, Student Activities, Office of Human Resources, Student Affairs, Provost Wing of the third floor (Administration Building), University Marketing, Financial Services, University Budget Office and Procurement.
The winners:
1st place ? Financial Services
2nd place ? Office of Human Resources
3rd place ? DECO and University Marketing (tie)
Our first place winners receive the Black & Gold Friday Traveling ?Tiger? Trophy to safeguard until next year and a hospitality party for a fall 2011 Tiger Football game (date to be determined). Second and third place winners receive Towson University merchandise.
