Administrative Leave and Timesheet Completion for Delayed Opening on 1/18/11

Administrative Leave has been granted to regular staff, 12-month faculty, librarians and contingent staff for their normally scheduled work hours between 6 a.m. and 9:59 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2011. The leave is granted for the delayed opening that occurred on that day.

Regular staff, 12-month faculty and librarians should record leave code ADMU in the leave code section of their timesheets, as well as any normally scheduled hours between 6 a.m. and 9:59 a.m. for January 18. Supervisors who have already approved timesheets without administrative leave can update their employees? timesheets until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 25. After that time, please contact Dave Curtis or Cheryl Harris to make the changes.

Contingent Category II non-exempt staff should record leave code ADMCU in the leave code section of their timesheet, along with their normally scheduled hours for the aforementioned time period.

Contingent Category II exempt staff should record leave code ADMCE in the leave code section on their timesheet, along with their normally scheduled hours for the aforementioned time period.

Contingent Category I staff should record as work time their normally scheduled hours for the aforementioned period and record ?Admin Leave for 1/18/11? in the remarks section.

Employees who were not scheduled to work are not granted administrative leave. Employees who chose not to report when the university opened at 10 a.m. must use their own earned leave for the entire period.

Non-exempt emergency essential personnel (usually only certain Facilities Management and Police employees) will be paid for hours worked in addition to receiving straight time administrative leave pay for their scheduled work hours.
