Writing is the most powerful tool that teachers have for helping students connect with content and deepen their understanding of it. This hands-on workshop explores ways to encourage students to do more exploratory, in-class writing to help them engage deeply with content, build connections, and retain what they have learned. Incorporating these writing activities into lessons not only increases understanding but also proves how writing can save rather than consume valuable instructional time.
