Dr. Laslo Boyd has been appointed to serve as Interim Chief of Staff of the university. His appointment is effective immediately.
Dr. Boyd has over 30 years of experience in higher education, government, and public policy. He has served as chief education advisor to the governor of Maryland, as Acting Secretary of Higher Education, and as vice president at the Greater Baltimore Committee. He has held senior positions at universities in both Maryland and Massachusetts as well as having been a tenured full professor. Dr. Boyd is currently teaching part-time in the Department of Political Science here at Towson University. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
