The workshop will be facilitated by Jeffrey Howard. Howard has taught, conducted research, and published work on academic service-learning over a 30 year period and is the founder and editor of the Michigan Journal of Community Service-Learning. This free workshop is designed for faculty to come away with a comprehensive understanding of the key aspects of service-learning and the tools to implement new initiatives successfully. Lunch will be provided and attendees will receive a free copy of Howard?s Service-Learning Course Design Workbook.
