The Institute for Teaching and Research on Women is sponsoring its second Brown Bag Lunch in the ?Talking About Teaching? series. The topic for this luncheon is ?Teaching About Conflict.? Dr. Kimberley Katz from the History Department will lead the discussion by drawing on her experiences of teaching about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. She will address both pedagogical and curricular issues in the teaching of contentious subjects. The event will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2004 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. in room 309-310 of the University Union. Lunch will be provided.
