As part of Towson’s civic engagement agenda, faculty members across campus have been participating in the “Teaching with The New York Times” program, a partnership between the American Democracy Project, the New York Times, and institutions of higher education across the country. Professors use The New York Times to enrich their course curriculum in a variety of ways.
HOW IT WORKS:
Professors receive FREE home delivery of the New York Times Monday through Friday during the semester. The New York Times is available for students to pick up Monday through Friday at ten locations across campus. Professors can choose to incorporate the newspaper into courses however they see fit.
