Arundel Elementary/Middle School in Cherry Hill will host Career Days on April 20 and 21. Cathy McClain, executive director of the Cherry Hill Trust, is recruiting volunteers to present to young schoolchildren information about their careers.
Here?s how it would work:
On April 20, volunteers would speak to classes of students for about 25 or 30 minutes in each class.
On April 21 there will be a ‘Career Round’ in which career representatives would display information at their tables. Classes would be scheduled to to walk around, supervised by their teachers, to gain information regarding the careers represented. The classes would spend about 5 – 10 minutes at each table, then move to the next table.
Career Day activities are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day.
