The Office of the Provost is saddened by the death of professor emeritus, Mitchell William Kerr, who died on February 24, 2005 at the age of 87.
Dr. Mitchell was retired from the department of History. He is survived by his wife, Rose Grimes-Kerr and his son, Michael Kerr.
A memorial service was held on March 1 in Crofton.
