Faculty from the College of Liberal Arts will lead a discussion on how various disciplines conceptualize race, what issues arise when teaching about race in the liberal arts, and what strategies they have used to teach about race.
Panelists include Celia Bardwell-Jones (Philosophy/Religious Studies and Women?s and Gender Studies), John Bullock (Political Science), Tara Bynum (English), Andrew Diemer (History), and Nicole Fabricant (Anthropology)
