Let’s explore and discuss expanding TU’s current and potential Russian connections by gathering for an informal “brown bag” lunch from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m., Wed., Oct. 17th, in the COFAC dean’s conference room, CA 3002. Professors Olga Markova and Lyudmila Azarova from the Electrotechnical University in St. Petersburg, Russia, will join us. They are part of the 13-year-old faculty-student exchange program with the TU Dept. of Mass Communication & Communication Studies.
Many faculty members throughout the university, and especially in COFAC–in Mass Communication & Communication Studies; Theatre; Music; Dance; Electronic Media and Film; to name a few–have Russian connections. Let’s share with each other what we are doing with our Russian colleagues–especially the benefits to our students. And let’s explore the possibilities.
Russian pastries and chocolates will be available–while they last. Bring your lunch and join us for an informal discussion.
Please RSVP to Denise Chlumsky at {dchlumsky@towson.edu} or call on 4-3288 by Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007.
