Faculty-led Short-term Study Abroad Programs – Call for proposals

Each year faculty members from a variety of academic departments lead short-term study abroad programs overseas. An information session for interested faculty members will be held on Monday, February 5 @ 4:00 p.m. in AD 244. The session will include a review of the proposal process, how to design a successful short-term program, pre-departure planning and recruiting, how to market your program, and pre-departure and on-site responsibilities.

The Study Abroad Office is currently accepting applications for faculty-led programs for the Minimester 2008 and Summer 2008 sessions. Initial proposals should be submitted to the Study Abroad Office by March 15, 2007. Please visit the TU Study Abroad website at {http://wwwnew.towson.edu/studyabroad/staff.asp} for proposal guidelines (see the TU Study Abroad Faculty Handbook) or contact Adam Grotsky, Director for Study Abroad at agrotsky@towson.edu for more information.

Thank you for your support.
