The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is offering this special lecture for on-campus faculty and staff in conjunction with a series of special lectures for the Osher membership.
Jane Byers offers a lecture in one of her areas of expertise, the first ladies, with this popular lecture on Eleanor Roosevelt. She will highlight Mrs. Roosevelt?s life story as the wife of the president that was in the White House the longest and served during a severe national crisis.
Jane Byers, M.Ed., has taught painting courses at Osher and, chairs the Osher Art Gallery. She has led an ongoing biography book club at the Towson branch of the Baltimore County Public Library. In addition, she has taught several Osher courses on the first ladies.
