Did you know that Teresa Hardin, Director of Presidential Events in the University Promotions and Events department, was recently nominated for a Board of Regents Staff Award? Teresa was nominated for the category of Exceptional contribution to the institution and /or unit to which the person belongs.
Teresa has worked at Towson University for twenty-eight years and eighteen of these years has been in the Department of Promotions and Events. In 2012, Teresa founded the Presidential Ambassador program which promotes the positive image of Towson University by engaging a diverse group of student leaders to represent the office of the President at designated events and related university advancement activities. These students serve as champions for private philanthropy and advocate for Towson University through their interactions with alumni, donors, civic and community leaders, and elected officials. Because of Teresa’s leadership and mentorship with these students, this program has elicited very positive feedback from many individuals in our extended community.
