Understanding and Using Lifelong Technologies

The Towson University Retired Faculty Association (TURFA) is sponsoring a free 3-hour workshop, “Understanding and Using Lifelong Technologies” on Friday, November 2, 2018, from 1 to 4 p.m. in 7800 York Road Room 305. TURFA members, current retirees, plus those planning to retire in the near future are welcome to attend. The agenda includes:

  • An AARP representative covering computer safety with a focus on preventing identity theft, hacking, and online scams
  • The Office of Technology Services training and client services teams, with information about the technology services, policies, and products – like Office 365 – at TU that retirees use or are need to know about
  • Representatives from Parking and Transportation Services and Cook Library to cover important information for our retirees who continue to return and visit the campus in what is often a lifelong relationship

Greeters will be available to direct you to parking in the Glen Garage and will provide registrants with a receipt to display in your car.

Register by November 1st.  Registration is free but required for this event. Click here to register online or call OTS Training at (410) 704-4070.
