Faculty and staff, each year colleges and universities across the country recognize the importance of the student work experience during National Student Employment Week! NSEW is held during the second full week of April. Join the celebration starting TODAY, Monday, April 9 through the end of this week.
On their campuses, student employees perform invaluable services with enthusiasm, dedication, and initiative. Indeed, most schools depend on the contributions of this reliable workforce for the efficient operation of the entire campus.
NSEW allows us to thank Towson University students for their contributions as student employees to the university and the nearby community.
How can you celebrate?
- Reverse Job Shadow (you shadow your students)
- Potluck Dessert or Pizza Party
- Personalized “Thank You” notes
- Fun certificates for Longest Commute (to work), Weirdest Job, etc.
Encourage your student employees to attend NSEW events to learn more about how they can add their experience to their resume and in their interviewing!
