John Gissendanner Memorial Lecture

Kristen Clark, President and  Executive Director of Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, presents her lecture entitled, “Civil Rights Lawyering in An Era of Resistance” for this year’s John Gissendanner Memorial Lecture. This lecture celebrates the memory of Dr. Gissendanner, who taught English at Towson University from 1975 to 2006. It also honors his commitment to researching and teaching African American literature and African American studies.
