The Department of Physics, Astronomy, and Geosciences invite all attend an Ocean Leadership lecture by a world expert on the plate tectonics responsible for making the Marianas Trench. The title of Mark’s talk will be, “The Early History of the Izu-Bonin-Mariana Subduction System as Revealed by Diving and Drilling”
