On January 1, 2018, CVS/Caremark replaced Express Scripts as the new pharmacy benefits provider. The plan features and copayments did not change. Current participants’ records for mail order pharmacy, specialty drug, and prior-authorization automatically transferred from Express Scripts to CVS/Caremark.
Remember to check the CVS/Caremark network for a list of participating pharmacies in your area. Also, present your new pharmacy ID card when you use retail pharmacy services for the first time in 2018.
