On January 1, 2018, CVS/Caremark replaces Express Scripts as the new pharmacy benefits provider. The plan features and copayments will not change. Current participants’ records for mail order pharmacy, specialty drug, and prior-authorization will automatically transfer from Express Scripts to CVS/Caremark.
Enrolled Faculty and staff will receive a CVS/Caremark welcome kit before January 1. Check the CVS/Caremark network for a list of participating pharmacies in your area to ensure a smooth transition. Also, remember to present your new pharmacy ID card when you use retail pharmacy services for the first time in 2018.
