Towson University will be closed for winter break from Friday, December 22, 2017, through Monday, January 1, 2018. The winter holiday hours will be pre-loaded the week of December 18 and your holiday leave balance will appear higher than usual. Holidays will pre-populate for December 25, 2017, and January 1, 2018. You must be in an active, paid status in order to earn the winter holidays.
Staff, who are in departments that observe non-traditional work hours and schedules, or which perform essential functions, should discuss coverage with their supervisors.
Below is a sample time sheet to use as a guide for the winter break. Days, which are not designated holidays and on which no work is performed, should be coded with accrued annual leave or leave without pay.
