Greater Accessibility through UDL ImplementationLisa Carey from Kennedy Krieger Institute and Kirk Behnke from CAST will explore how accessibility is promoted through the framework of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Learner variability and cognitive neuroscience, which supports UDL, also supports accessible pedagogy and avenues how instructors can incorporate accessible design elements into their curriculum. A question and answer period will enable participants to ask specific questions about UDL implementation. |
