PNC Bank will host two financial literacy workshops for all faculty and staff next week!

All faculty and staff are invited to attend a Financial Credit seminar from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26 and an Investment Basics workshop from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 28.  Bring your lunch – light refreshments will be provided. See details below:

Credit 101

Location: Administration Building, Room 120

Presenter: PNC Bank, Retail and Workplace Banking

Experienced PNC Bank professionals will cover the following topics:

  • Define credit and why it is important
  • Describe the purpose of credit scores, reports, and how they’re used
  • Identify ways to build and repair credit history

Investment Basics

Location: Administration Building, Room 120

Presenter: PNC Investments

Chris Wilson, TU’s PNC Licensed Financial Advisor will discuss the following:

  • Overview of stocks, bonds, and mutual fund investment allocations
  • Protecting your assets and getting strong capital gains
  • Establishing an emergency fund
  • Determining how much money is needed to retire
  • Saving and investing for retirement, college, weddings, and various life events
