Towson University Retired Faculty Association (TURFA) to Conduct a Survey of All Retired TU Faculty and Librarians
In mid-September, TURFA will conduct a first-ever survey of all retired Towson University faculty and librarians. The purpose of the survey is to create an inventory of their activities and contributions since retirement. Topics to be covered in the survey include retiree travel, hobbies, involvement in community volunteer work, and involvement in their academic fields such as teaching, research, and mentoring. The aggregate information from the survey will be shared not only with the respondents, but also with a wide Towson University audience and the community at large. Also, the results of the survey will be found on TURFA’s website (www.towson.edu/turfa).
