The SPSS version on Virtual Workspace will be upgraded to SPSS 25 on Thursday, May 25. Generally, the Virtual Workspace two-year cycle is followed. No action is required.
How to upgrade to SPSS version 25
- Office Computers: For details on SPSS, including installation instructions, see the Office of Technology Services’ (OTS) SPSS & SAS Statistical Software webpage and complete the upgrade prior to July 31.
- Classrooms and Computer Labs: colleges and departments must plan for SPSS deployments for their classrooms and labs prior to July 31. If labs are being reimaged over the summer, SPSS version 25 should be used. If labs are not being reimaged, but need the new software, lab managers can request to schedule a deployment to their labs by submitting a TechHelp service request to OTS.
