Project Description: The Office of Academic Innovation will provide support and technical assistance for ten (10) faculty to participate in a scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) community for 1 year (June 2017-May 2018).

Leadership Development: “Inspire students, faculty and staff to become educated, engaged, informed citizens with leadership skills and a passion for intellectual challenge.”
Purpose: Promote teaching as an intellectual activity by establishing inquiry-oriented communities of practice that seek to improve teaching and learning in higher education.
Objectives:
Provide support and technical assistance to engage a cohort of faculty at Towson University in the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL)
Increase scholarly outputs based on systematic examinations of the processes and products of teaching and learning
Projects faculty will be expected to participate in:
(1) A Kick-Off Workshop

(2) Two “Coffee House” Meetings
Join colleagues once in the Fall of 2017 and once in the Spring of 2018 for debriefing and sharing. |
