Campus support for Office 2013 has ended. To ensure your computer is fully supported by the Office of Technology Services (OTS), upgrade to Office 2016 using one of these options:
- Get automatically upgraded. Starting on April 3, 2017, OTS will begin automatically upgrading Windows computers on a building-by-building basis. You will receive an email with more information from your building coordinator a few days before the upgrade. No response or confirmation is needed to be upgraded.
- Perform your own upgrade. This can be completed any time prior to receiving notification about the scheduled automatic upgrade from your building coordinator. OTS understands that the scheduled time might not work for everyone, so you can avoid potentially having your work interrupted by running the upgrade at a time that is convenient for you. To upgrade your TU Windows computer using the Software Center, follow the instructions for Installing Office 2016.
Check which version you are using by following the steps in Microsoft’s Help Article.
Don’t miss out on the latest features offered by Office 2016, such as real-time multi-user file viewing and editing, simplified document attachment in Outlook, and Tell Me, an enhanced help menu that lets you find what you need using your own words.
