Richard E. Vatz (Instructional Leadership and Professional Development) has a new edition of his The Only Authentic Book of Persuasion: the Agenda-Spin Model coming out this summer and newly published by McGraw-Hill. Vatz also has co-edited a new work coming out this summer, Thomas S. Szasz: the Man and His Ideas, (Transaction Publishers) with all new essays, including his own, “What Thomas S. Szasz Has Wrought: A Mixed Assessment.”
Michaël Dewally, Ph.D. (finance) with Matteo Arena (Marquette University) published an article titled “Investment Bank Expertise in Cross-Border Mergers and Acquisitions” in Journal of Financial Research. The article studies the influence of country expertise of investment banks in facilitating cross-border merger deals by analyzing a large international sample of M&A deals.
Lijing Du, Ph.D. (finance) had a paper accepted in the Journal of Business, Finance and Accounting for publication. She is the sole author on this paper, which is titled “The CDS Market Reaction to Restatement Announcements”.
