The Chronicle Great Colleges to Work For Survey – Deadline April 7

The Chronicle of Higher Education is presenting the Great Colleges to Work For study, designed to recognize institutions that have built great workplaces.

Towson University will be participating in this comprehensive evaluation again this year. Recognition by higher education’s most visible and widely read publication would bring well-deserved praise to everyone in the Towson University community.

One segment of the program is an employee survey distributed to a random sample of each participating institution’s full-time faculty and staff . The anonymous employee survey has been distributed to a random selection of 600 of our employees via email along with brief instructions for the online survey. If you have received the invitation, please take a moment to complete the survey by April 7, as you will be representing not only yourself, but all of your colleagues.

The results of the survey will be factored into the overall scoring process that will ultimately determine which institutions will be recognized in the Chronicle’s annual publication.

This is an anonymous survey that measures the strength of certain organizational competencies and relationships that most directly impact and influence an institution’s culture. Your participation and honest feedback are critical to the assessment process. To ensure the confidentiality of your responses, your survey will be processed by ModernThink, LLC, a research and consulting firm focusing on workplace excellence. Our institution will not be given any information that would enable us to trace survey data back to any one individual.

We encourage everyone’s participation! A high response rate helps ensure accurate results and demonstrates the commitment of our workforce. Click here to see last year’s survey results for TU.

Thank you for your participation. Please contact Kristi Yowell at 410-704-6011 or (kyowell@towson.edu) if you have any questions.
