The Blacksmith’s Shop is a comfortable social atmosphere designed to provide participants an opportunity to engage in civil exchange while handling hot topics. Through the use of facilitated small group discussions, the program will provide participants a learning space where people can experience healthy and intellectual open discourse on subjects such as race, politics, gender issues and sexual orientation. Failure to have conversations has resulted in social stagnation. It’s time for us to grow so that we can benefit from the synergy that can happen when people of different backgrounds work together.
