The Cross-Campus Internship Coordinating Committee, with the support of Provost Chandler and Vice Provost Maggie Reitz, has launched a new resource – a comprehensive “TU Internship Coordinator Handbook (PDF)” – for faculty and staff – that we hope will prove valuable to you as you work with student engaging in internships and related forms of field experience.
Topics include definitions, baselines and data collection; developing and evaluating learning outcomes; risk management; roles and checklists; and an addendum with links and resources, TU internship courses, and the Principles of Good Practice from the National Society for Experiential Education.
