There is just one more day for you to support nonprofits across the state through the Maryland Charity Campaign! The campaign ends tomorrow, and so does your best chance to support any of more than 900 charities and to build an even bigger sense of community in Maryland.
Last year, MCC generated more than $3 million for Maryland nonprofits that serve the arts, education, healthcare, addiction counseling and treatment, assistance for the poor and the homeless and much more. You can visit mcc.maryland.gov to learn more and to search a list of available charities. And by giving in these final days, you’ll be entered to win two tickets to the New York Giants vs. Washington game on New Year’s Day, a Sony Action Cam, or one of three copies of Maryland: A Portrait signed by Gov. Larry Hogan!
Giving through MCC is easy – you can give through payroll deduction, by credit card, or by check – but to do so, you will need to use a unique employee ID the state has created for this specific purpose. That ID number is at the top of the giving form you received in campus mail, or you can learn your ID number by contacting James Brandenburg at jbrandenburg@towson.edu or 4-2503. Don’t delay!
