Beginning in plan year 2017, the State of Maryland Employee Benefits Division will no longer offer long-term care (LTC) insurance. Current participants will be contacted by the current LTC provider, Prudential, to establish direct billing and continue coverage. Effective January 1, P&A will replace ConnectYourCare as the new Flexible Spending Account (FSA) administrator. P&A will issue debit cards for the health care FSA in December. Use your ConnectYourCare debit card for 2016 plan expenses and the 2016 grace period. Use the P&A debit card for the 2017 plan year. Remember, you must re-enroll in your FSA every plan year. The account does not roll over from year to year.
