There have been several updates and additions to Blackboard services and support for the fall semester:
Version Update
Blackboard was updated this summer to Q4 2015, which includes some new features and fixes to existing known issues. Check out the Blackboard Updates webpage for more information.
Blackboard Take Attendance
In Blackboard, instructors can now use this new Qwickly feature to take attendance in their Blackboard course. The Qwickly module can also be used to make the courses available, send emails, post content and announcements to multiple courses from one location.
Blackboard Collaborate
Collaborate web conferencing platform is hosted inside Blackboard and adheres to accessibility standards. Use it for class meetings, polling projects and one-on-one sessions with students. Get Blackboard support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – including holidays. Visit the Blackboard 24/7 portal to view Blackboard FAQs, create a case, hold a live chat or access phone support.
