Small Deductions Mean Big Additions for TU

You recently received a 2017 payroll deduction card in the mail, giving you the opportunity to make an impact on our students. Simply fill out the form and return it to the Office of Development, and your donation to Towson University will be automatically deducted from your paycheck starting in January.

Every dollar makes an impact. With a $4 deduction per paycheck – less than the cost of a latte – you would donate up to $104 to Towson University in 2017.

Last year, donations under $100 totaled more than $630,000 for Towson University. That’s enough to send 67 in-state students (or 30 out-of-state students) to TU for a year, or provide more than 25 international students the chance to master English at the English Language Center. Donations under $100 can seem small, but their impact is BIG.

Your donation can support any of our more than 650 funds, giving you the opportunity to impact the causes and programs most important to you. The Towson Fund supports the university’s areas of greatest need. The TU Food Insecurity Support Fund provides dining hall meal funds for students who have food insecurities. The choice in how to make even more of an impact on students’ lives is yours.

If you need a new payroll deduction, form contact the Office of Development at 410-704-2573 or email eboteler@towson.edu. For a complete list and description of funds, or to make a donation online visit towson.edu/giving.
