Faculty and Staff Kudos

Librarian Sarah Burns Gilchrist has been awarded a $100 scholarship from the Maryland Library Association to attend the 2016 American Library Association Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Audrey Cutler, Senior Designer/Trainer (Office of Academic Innovation) served on the Conference Program Committee for the Quality Matters NE Regional Conference on Quality Assurance in Online Learning, held March 17-18, 2016, in New York City. The conference, titled “Quality State of Mind” was hosted by Berkeley College, NYC, and focused on improving course quality and enhancing learner engagement.

La Tonya Dyer, Course Development Support Manager (Office of Academic Innovation) ; and Joe Brightman, Instructional Designer and Technologist (Office of Academic Innovation) co-presented “Gold Reviews at Towson University” at the  Quality Matters NE Regional Conference on Quality Assurance in Online Learning, held March 17-18, 2016, in New York City. The presentation featured OAI’s customizations to the QM system and how those customizations make the QM process easier and more manageable for internal peer reviews.

 Debbie Phillips (Human Resources) completed the Workplace Professional Certificate, one of the noncredit certificates offered by the Office of Human Resources.
