Benefits Bulletin: Premium Holiday for Health Benefit Deductions

If you are regular faculty and staff, the paycheck you’ll receive on April 6 represents a “premium holiday.”  This means that your April 6 paycheck will not have payroll deductions for any of your state of Maryland health benefits – medical, prescription, dental, term life, AD&D, long-term care, and flexible spending accounts.  If you are enrolled in the UNUM life insurance or long-term disability insurance through the University System of Maryland, those regular payroll deductions will continue.
