Dr. Cruzado-Guerrero presentation is titled
“Teaching English Learners: Beliefs and Sense of Preparedness of Pre-service Teachers”

In this sabbatical presentation, the findings of a study regarding the beliefs and perceived preparedness of pre-service teachers about teaching English learners (ELs) will be discussed. In this study, one hundred sixteen pre-service teachers responded to a survey, which asked questions about their beliefs and teacher preparation experiences. Pre-service teachers also provided recommendations for their teacher preparation programs. The presentation will highlight implications for teacher preparation programs.
