Where the Cherry Tree Grew: Finding George Washington’s Boyhood Home

In 2008, Professor Philip Levy of the University of South Florida, and his colleagues found Ferry Farm, the site of George Washington’s boyhood home. On Tuesday, March 1, at 5:00pm in the College of Liberal Arts building, room 4310, come hear him describe how they discovered this lost landmark and what their findings reveal about the first president and the times in which he lived.
