Administrative Leave for Inclement Weather – Completing your Timesheet

Towson University was closed due to inclement weather beginning 1 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2016. The University reopened at midnight on Wednesday, January 27. Please refer to the Emergency Closing Information for details.

Employees who were not already on leave or were not scheduled to take leave during this period should indicate Administrative Leave on their timesheet to correspond with the actual days and or shifts they would have been scheduled to work if not for the inclement weather. Employees who were not scheduled to work, were scheduled to take leave, or were already on leave, may not use Administrative Leave.

Employees who left work prior to 1 p.m. on Friday, January 22, or who did not report at their scheduled time on Wednesday, January 27, must use their own accrued leave for those times. Administrative Leave cannot be banked for future use or applied to days and times other than outlined above.

For more information please review the Administrative Leave Decision Tree and the Administrative Leave FAQ.

Below are sample timesheets for regular exempt and regular non-exempt employees (for illustrative purposes only). Although regular employees use the ADMU code, your timesheet will vary based on your work schedule. It is important that employees complete their timesheets correctly and supervisors verify the accuracy of the information before approving the timesheet.

Employees in 24/7 operations who were required to report to work while the campus was closed, and Contingent Employees, should refer to the links above for details on completing their timesheets.
